At one time I had a first edition in dust jacket of Fall Guys. The book is in public domain and lesser quality but cheaper copies began showing up. I decided an electronic copy was good enough and sold the book while it still had some value.
Available here is the digital copy that I made from the book. This is an important and early book of wrestling history. It is also one that must be looked at with a critical eye. Much like Lou Thesz's "Hooker", it contains great information but is marred by the author's bias.
"Fall Guys" was ostensibly written by sports columinist Dan Parker, however most of the information was provided by "Toots" Mondt. Mondt was one of the most influential persons in wrestling history, he was also so crooked he had to screw on his socks every morning. According to the book Mondt and his friends created everything involved with modern wrestling. While Mondt's enemies, especially Jim Londos, were crooks and failures.
One of the first books to break kayfabe, it should be read by everyone interested in the history of wrestling. Just keep an open mind when doing so.
